Abortion Restrictions In Chile / by Maria Hinojosa | May 30, 2014

Abortion Restrictions In Chile

Chile is one of a few countries in the world where abortions are illegal, no exceptions.  We follow the stories of two womens’ abortions in one the most socially conservative countries in Latin America. Although general attitude towards abortion is shifting, women in Chile still have very little options if they get pregnant.  Reporter Eilis O’Neill paints a tableau of what the United States could be like if restrictions on abortions continue to advance.
